When I met Tammy, I felt an instant connection our shared vision, our commitment to serving others, and our belief in the power of creativity and education united us. Together, we envisioned a foundation that not only provides for basic needs but also nurtures the heart and soul. A foundation that empowers communities, celebrates culture, and builds bridges between continents.Our kids affectionately call Tammy “Mama Love,” a name that truly embodies the warmth and compassion she brings to their lives. Watching her dance, laugh, and celebrate with these children, I am reminded of the power of love to heal, uplift, and transform.Dance and artistic expression have always been at the heart of who I am. It saved and transformed my life. When Tammy and I met, we discovered a shared passion for these arts,which has profoundly shaped our vision for Empower 2 Create. Dance, for us, is more than movement; it is a way of connecting, of expressing our deepest emotions, and of building bridges between cultures. Through our programs, we strive to bring this same sense of joy, connection, and freedom to the children we serve, allowing them to discover their own unique forms of expression.In Rwanda, we have a saying: “Umuntu ni umuntu kubera abandi,” which means “A person is a person because of others.” This philosophy is at the core of everything we do. We can empower our children to dream beyond their circumstances and to create a future full of
possibilities. We are here to uplift one another, to support our neighbors, and to create a world where everyone can thrive. Together, we are making the world a better place one child, one family, one community at a
